How to create an Authentic Report
Post updates
Authentic downloads your posts from your connected social network accounts daily.
Once downloaded, we keep your post stats up-to-date for 7 days.
Posts that have been added to a Report are updated as follows:

Incorrect stats?
Authentic uses APIs to pull data directly from your social network account(s). We are working hard to ensure all our connections are up-to-date and working as expected. If you discover any discrepancy between the stats we are displaying and the stats you see in your social network account, please get in touch.
Authentic currently supports Facebook Posts created on Facebook Business Pages. You have to be an administrator of the Business Page to be able to connect the Page to Authentic.
After connecting your Facebook Page, Authentic downloads your Posts from the last 6 months.
Authentic currently supports Instagram Posts, Stories and Reels posted to an Instagram Business or Creator account, which is also connected to a Facebook Business Page. (This is a limitation of the Facebook API.)
After you connect your Instagram account, Authentic downloads your last 200 Instagram Posts and Reels.
Instagram Stories are only saved automatically from the moment you have connected your account to Authentic. It takes 24 hours for the Instagram Stories to appear in Authentic, and stats are displayed once the Story expires.
Instagram Stories created before you connected your account to Authentic can be added manually on the Media Wall. Click "Add Instagram Story" and complete the form. Instagram Stories do not have "Engagement" metrics anymore.
Instagram Reels: You can add "Total Plays" metric to each Reel on your Report manually.
Instagram IGTV is not supported.
Google Analytics & Blog Posts
Authentic supports websites that use Google Analytics 4 (GA4). You can connect your website by authenticating using your GA4 account and providing your site's Propery ID and Sitemap XML file.
How to find the GA4 Property ID?
- Click to open Google Analytics 4 (in a new window).
- Click on the "gear icon" (Admin) in the bottom-left corner.
- Select your website and click on "Property Settings".
- Click the "Copy" icon next to the 9 digit PROPERTY ID to copy.
How does the GA4 Integration work?
Authentic will download all blog post information from GA4 as long as the blog post has all the following requirements:
- Title
- Published date ("article:published_time" or "datePublished" META Tags, or JSON equivalent)
- Modified date ("article:modified_time" or "og:updated_time" META Tags, or JSON equivalent)
- Image ("og:image" META Tag)
Any blog post or article which does not fit these requirements will be ignored.

TikTok
Authentic now supports the TikTok API.
Authentic will automatically downloads all your TikTok Videos.
YouTube
After you connect your YouTube Channel, Authentic downloads your last 30 YouTube Videos.
Your YouTube Channel has to have over 2000 subscribers for Authentic to be able to display accurate stats.
YouTube Video Impressions metrics can be added to each video on your Report manually.
Pinterest (Manual via Browser Extension)
Your Pinterest account has to be added to Authentic via our Browser Extension.
Authentic does not automatically download any of your Pins. Please follow the instructions on the Media Wall > "Add Pinterest Pin" page to add Pins.
To add a New Pinterest Pin to Authentic, please go to the Media Wall and click "Add Pinterest Pin" and complete the form.
Once you added a Pin to Authentic, the Browser Extension will update the Pin stats every time you visit the Pin Analytics page on Pinterest.
Twitter (Manual via Browser Extension)
Your Twitter account has to be added to Authentic via our Browser Extension.
Authentic does not automatically download any of your Tweets. Please follow the instructions on the Media Wall > "Add Twitter Tweet" page to add Tweets.
To add a New Twitter Tweet to Authentic, please go to the Media Wall and click "Add Twitter Tweet" and complete the form.
Once you added a Tweet to Authentic, the Browser Extension will update the Tweet stats every time you visit the Tweet Analytics page on Twitter.
Newsletter & Email Campaign
Your Newsletter service has to be added to Authentic manually.
Authentic does not download any of your Email Campaigns.
To add an Email Campaign to Authentic, please go to the Media Wall and click "Add Email Campaign" and complete the form.
