When you connect your YouTube account to Authentic, Authentic receives data from the YouTube API that contains information about your YouTube profile, YouTube channel, YouTube videos and metrics. This data is stored in our system and used only to display metrics in your reports. We do not share your data with anybody without your expressed consent. Should you wish to delete your data from Authentic, you can do so by disconnecting your YouTube account. Your data will be immediately deleted from our system. You can also revoke API Client's access to your data via the Google security settings page at https://security.google.com/settings/security/permissions. Why are YouTube stats not aggregated alongside other platforms?
YouTube's API Terms of Service do not allow us to include YouTube data in aggregated metrics, and also prevent us from including any YouTube data in exported (PDF) reports. This means we have to break YouTube video stats out separately (see YouTube's Terms of Service) and hide them when exporting PDFs.
